We have just returned from a 2 week trip to Egypt organized by Terratrips. What an incredible organization. From getting off the plane on arrival in Cairo to checking in and boarding for the return trip, we were taken care of by this organization.

Our guide Francopjone listened to our expectations and the program could be adapted according to our wishes with visits to local villages that were off the classic tourist circuit. The exceptionally cold winter weather conditions for the country have not dampened our enthusiasm for the success of the trip and if we were to leave with Terra trips it would be with our eyes closed.
The organization was perfect and the guide Ahmed knew how to listen to our aspirations and our expectations. He notably modified certain schedules to allow us to visit a village with its market and also a Nubian village (the 2 outside the usual tourist circuits) We had the chance to visit desert sites (we were the only visitors to Dendera) or very little frequented (photos as below attest to it even in Abu Simbel where my wife managed the feat to take a photo without tourists). We end up with CasaCook in ElGouna. The hotel is really superb (too bad the weather is too cool).
Regarding the choice of hotels, the Sofitel l hotel in Cairo which is a bit aging and whose restaurant is overpriced (it was cold and we did not want to go out). The Hilton in Luxor is really very nice with a large swimming pool on the banks of the Nile. The Queen Farida boat requires a few refreshments, particularly in terms of sanitary facilities, but the crew was very attentive to our comfort (we were the only 2 passengers).
We were very cold on the boat but you can't do much against exceptional winter weather conditions. So in summary, I'll rate this trip 4.9/5. history of not putting 5/5?.
Hats off to the organization on site and the representatives who are very available and very present. We are passionate about reportage photos and we bring back a lot of shots This time in addition, our photos of the temples and unmissable places will make people jealous because of the lack of attendance We had the impression during the whole stay of being privileged visitors and it was fantastic.
