Contract

This contract entails rights and duties for Terra-Trips as well as on the part of the customer.

The contract takes effect from the moment of acceptance of the proposed program and upon receipt of the deposit.

These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between the client and Terra-Trips with regard to the program arrangements organized by Terra-Trips, as well as all other services provided by Terra-Trips.

1.1 A service organized by an organization other than Terra-Trips, and which is just resold, is subject to the contract conditions of the other organization. In this specific case, Terra-Trips is not your contractual partner.

  1. Price

2.1 The prices are mentioned in Euro per adult. Although the following prices are applied for children (age reached during the circuit):

2.2 The deposit, corresponding at least half of the total amount, must be paid by bank transfer, when registering to confirm the reservation of dates and services (visits, hotels, cruises, transport, transfers, etc.).

2.3 If the reservation is made less than 21 days before the 1er day of the program, Terra-Trips reserves the right to request full payment immediately.

2.4 When making a reservation less than 7 days before departure, additional costs of at least 50 euros per person may be invoiced.

2.5 Any modification occurring after acceptance of the program (payment of the deposit) may result in additional costs of at least 50 euros per person.

2.6 The balance of the amount is to be paid, once installed in your hotel in Cairo, in cash on the evening of your 1er day in Egypt. On the other hand, if you wish to pay the balance before your arrival, it should be noted that direct payment remains at your disposal.

2.7 Change in prices: for reasons beyond our control (for example the sudden increase in the prices of our partners, such as hotels, the price of gasoline and consequently transportation). We reserve the right to increase the prices announced in the program. On the other hand, if the increase exceeds 5%, Terra-Trips will offer you a more advantageous variant if you wish.

2.8 During package tours, unforeseen changes (accommodation, means of transport, services, visits, order of visits) may occur. However, we will endeavor to find an equivalent replacement. Thus the changes of the program do not give any right to claims for damages, nor to refunds, nor to indemnities.

2.9 The Terra-Trips package includes many services. However special meals (Christmas & New Year) are in addition to the proposed package; Indeed, prices vary from one hotel to another as well as from one cruise to another. While it is unfortunately impossible for us to know the cost in advance.

  1. Cancelation

3.1 Any cancellation must be notified to Terra-Trips as soon as possible.

3.2 The following costs will be retained, per person, for any cancellation (100 euros minimum):

 In case of cancellation from the time of booking up to 61 days before the start date of the trip = 20% of total amount of the trip Reserve.

Between 70 and 30 days before the date of arrival = deduction of 50 % from total amount of the trip.

Between 30 and 7 days before the date of arrival = deduction of 75% from total amount of the trip.

Between 7 and 1 days before the arrival date = deduction of 100% of the total amount of the trip.

  • 3.3 In the event of cancellation during a circuit with domestic flights, however, the plane tickets will not be reimbursed and will be retained by 100% during a cancellation, regardless of when the latter is announced to Terra-Trips.

3.4 In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, send your refund request to your credit card company (MasterCard, for example).

  1. Trip interruption

If the customer voluntarily interrupts the program, Terra-Trips will help him to return – as soon as possible – to Cairo. however no reimbursement will take place.

  1. Modification / cancellation by the customer

No refund for modifications / cancellations to the program (accommodation, means of transport, services, visits, orders of visits) made by the client during the trip.

  1. Modification/cancellation by Terra-Trips

6.1 If the circumstances so require, and in the interest of the customer, Terra-Trips reserves the right to modify the program (accommodation, means of transport, services, visits, order of visits) while providing equivalent services in the possible.

6.2 However, Terra-Trips deems that a program must be canceled for reasons of force majeure, consider, for example (natural disaster, strike, political unrest, etc.), you will receive a voucher for the amounts paid, under deduction of services already provided before the time of cancellation or interruption. On the other hand, any other claim for damages is excluded. 

  1. Responsibility

7.1 Terra-Trips declines all the more any responsibility when the non-execution or the imperfect execution of the contract is due:

  • To breaches of the customer,
  • Unforeseeable or insurmountable shortcomings attributable to one of its partners or to a third party outside the provision of the services provided for in the contract.
  • Likewise, in case of force majeure or an event that Terra-Trips, likewise, or its partner, could not foresee or against which they could do nothing.

7.2 In addition, if the customer suffers material damage (direct damage) attributable to Terra-Trips, on the other hand the compensation cannot exceed the price of the program set up.

7.3 No liability for excursions and events purchased, for example, on site – without prior agreement from Terra-Trips – outside the established program.

  1. Insurance

8.1 Terra-Trips also advises its customers to take out private insurance to cover the following risks:

  • Loss of suitcases,
  • Flight cancellation

8.2 Present your complaints immediately and directly to our guide accompanying you. Then He will diligently find a suitable solution for you.

  1. Visa/Passport

9.1 The customer is responsible for his passport (valid for 6 months after the end date of the stay in Egypt) as well as the entry visa on Egyptian soil. In addition for citizens who are not members of the European Union. While the visa must be taken beforehand from an Egyptian consulate. Also for EU and Swiss citizens. Similarly, the visa will be affixed to your passport directly upon your arrival at Cairo airport – first fill in the appropriate form distributed on the plane.

10.1 The customer is personally responsible for the booking, payment and confirmation of his international return flights.

  1. Jurisdiction

11.1 Place of jurisdiction is Egypt, Cairo.

  1. Guarantee

12.1 Guarantee of the sums paid within the framework of the reservation of your programme.
