Itinerary

Day 1Cairo – Wednesday

Arrival in Cairo on Wednesday, welcome, assistance with customs formalities and support, then accompaniment and installation in your hotel with swimming pool (subject to availability), 5* Cairo Airport Passage, or 5* in the city of 6 October 5* Hilton Pyramids Golf 15 km from the Giza pyramids, or near the city center, 4* luxury Steigenebereger el Tahrir , or 4* Novetel el Borg. Night at the hotel.

Day 2 - Thursday Cairo (The Pyramids and Tombs of Giza & the Little-known Pyramids of Dahshur) -> Aswan - Thursday

Departure for the wonderful site of the Giza Plateau. Composed of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos as well as the mysterious Sphinx. Then, departure to join the eastern cemetery. After that, visit the tomb of the Great Dignitary of King Cheops, where you will be almost the only ones!

Then you will enter the small pyramid of the mother of King Cheops. Then, visit the temple of King Chephren whose walls and ceilings are made of granite, and the floor is covered with white alabaster. In the middle of the room is the famous "well". It is here where the statue of Chephren was discovered more precisely. Unique in its kind in 1860 by Auguste Mariette, then barbecue lunch in a typical restaurant.

Departure off the beaten track to reach the typical village of Dahshour for the discovery of beautiful and lesser known pyramids of Dahshour, discovery of the exterior of the rhomboidal pyramid – the only one in Egypt which still retains its exterior covering, then you enter the pyramid rhomboidal open very recently for the first time to the public. Continuation with a visit to the Red Pyramid, entry into the Red Pyramid. 

Transfer to the airport from Cairo, and flight to Aswan, welcome, support and installation in your hotel, 5* (2-3* European standard) Tolip Aswan.  Night at the hotel.

Day 3 - Friday (Nile Cruise) Aswan - Temples of Isis

Departure by car then by small motor boat on the small lake to get to “Agilika Island”, in-depth visit to the Philae temple, which is undoubtedly the "Pearl of the Nile", built on an island submerged in the 1970s by the rise in the level of the reservoir of the old Aswan Dam, following the construction of the high dam.

You will visit among other things, the temple of Isis, which is obviously the main construction of Philae. It is one of the major sanctuaries of the goddess in Egypt. After that departure to visit the little-known chapel of the goddess of love Hator, and, to conclude visit the Kiosk of Trajan which is the main feature of the site.

Isis is a mythical queen. Most often, she is represented as a young woman wearing a throne or, in the likeness of Hathor, of a wig surmounted by a solar disk inserted between two horns of cow. She is the sister and wife of the king. Osiris, a generous being who placed his reign under the sign of cosmic harmony. Isis in the form of a bird of prey united with the mummy of her husband and conceived Horus. Isis makes him the eternal sovereign of the Douat, a paradise world populated by immortal spirits. To ensure his protection, she places him under the watchful eye of the canine god. Anubis, his adopted son.

Departure for a felucca ride (small private sailing boat) near Elephantine Island. A moment of pure relaxation, letting yourself be rocked by the light breeze and sailing in the calm, blue waters. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 4 - Saturday Nile Cruise (Kom Ombo)

Breakfast on board. Free morning: Optional visit to the temples of Abu Simbel by car (270 km). Lunch on board. Then the boat sails to reach the small town of Kom Ombo (3 hours of navigation), upon arrival departure for the visit to the temple of Kom Ombo, located on the banks of the Nile, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek.

Then navigation on Edfu (5 hours of navigation). Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5 - Sunday Nile Cruise – (Edfu – Luxor)

After breakfast, visit the Edfu temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus, son of Isis, the small town of Edfu owes its fame to the colossal temple that was built during the Ptolemaic era. It is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt and the second largest building after Karnak, remarkable for its harmonious plan with perfect proportions.

Arrival in Luxor around 6:00 p.m. At the end of the afternoon, departure for the visit of the temple of Luxor illuminated under a very beautiful lighting which puts it in its most beautiful beauty, dinner and night on board. 

Day 6 - Monday (End of Cruise) Luxor > Cairo

We will visit part of the grandiose necropolis of Thebes where the sovereigns of the New Kingdom were buried in hypogea, dug into the mountain, possessing luxurious and abundant funerary furniture. In-depth visit to the Valley of the Kings, or we will visit three remarkable tombs in which they still preserve magnificent exceptional painted reliefs thanks to the freshness of the colors and the particular care taken during their creation, visit of the tomb of Rames IV, Sethi II and Taousert (if they are open during your trip).

Lunch at the end of the visits in a typical restaurant on the West Bank, or in town.

Jour 6 - Voyage Égypte et la Jordanie

departure for the visit of temples of Karnak… dedicated to the Great God Amon the hidden. The Karnak religious complex—incorrectly called the Temple of Karnak or simply Karnak—comprises a vast collection of ruins of temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings located north of Thebes, today the city of Luxor.

Departure off the beaten track for the visit of one of these small temples unknown to mass tourism then visit of a small unknown dedicated to the goddess healer there lioness highly appreciated by the ancient Egyptians, by first crossing through an impressive spectacle thousands of pieces of stones from the fields of excavations undertaken on the site, where you will be almost the only ones.

Continuation from the discovery of the little-known sites of Karnak, dedicated to the hidden god Amon by visiting the wonderful Red Chapel of Queen Hatshepsut, and the magnificent alabaster chapel of King Sesostris I, where you will be almost alone.

Evening transfer to the airport from Luxor and fly to Cairo, on arrival, assistance and installation in your hotel (subject to availability), 5* Cairo Airport Passage, or 5* in the city of 6 October 5* Hilton Pyramids Golf 15 km from the Giza pyramids, or near the city center, 4* luxury Steigenebereger el Tahrir, or 4* Novetel el Borg. Day 7 - Tuesday Cairo – Sinai – Nuwiba (480 Km - 7 hour drive)

Breakfast at the hotel, departure to reach the Sinai by crossing the Suez Canal through the tunnel.
Continuation along the Canal then the Gulf of Suez.

Then stop at Ain Musa to discover the “Sources of Moses” where Moses struck a rock to make water gush out, according to Exodus.

Then continue to reach Nuweiba. Stops are planned on the road to admire the marvelous landscape of the pink and black granite mountains as well as the Sinai limestone mountains.

Upon your arrival ; lunch in a typical restaurant in the village, then installation in your hotel, the Coral Resort Nuweiba (4*). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 - Wednesday nuweiba

Free day (breakfast and dinner are included at the hotel). Night at the hotel.

Day 9 - Thursday Nuweiba > Aqaba

First, it will be breakfast at the hotel. Then we will leave during the morning to reach the Port of Nuweiba. We will arrive there around 11:30 am to take the ferry to the Jordanian port of Aqaba; the ferry will depart around 2:00 p.m.

Then, upon our arrival in Aqaba, Jordan around 5:00 p.m., we will be welcomed by a Jordanian representative; then, we will accompany you and we will install you in your hotel, the Al Raad Hotel (3*).

Day 10 - Friday Wadi Rum and overnight at the camp

After our breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to Wadi Rum. In fact the multi-colored desert. “Vast resounding, in the image of God.” These are the words TE Lawrence used to describe Wadi Rum. Then we will “follow” in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia and the famous Red Mountain.

Wadi Rum is the largest and most majestic of the Jordanian deserts, this place is breathtaking, timeless and left almost untouched by men. Likewise, it is a monolithic rock labyrinth extending from the ground to a height of 1750 meters, creating ideal terrain for the most seasoned climbers.

Hikers will appreciate the calm of the infinite spaces, will explore the canyons and the gueltas to discover 4000-year-old rock drawings and the other prodigious treasures of this desert immensity.

Then we will do a 4*4 jeep excursion for 2 hours, then it will be lunch at the deserts. We will admire the marvelous sunset over the desert. Dinner and night at the camp Bedouin from Wadi Rum Dream Camp.

Day 11 - Saturday Petra

Breakfast at the camp, then we will drive to Petra. The ancient city of Petra, one of Jordan's national treasures, is undoubtedly the country's best-known tourist site.

Located three hours drive south of Amman. So Petra was left to us by the Nabataeans, a hard-working Arab nation that settled in the southern tip of Jordan more than 2,000 years ago.

Renowned for its refined culture, its massive architecture and its ingenious system of reservoirs and water supply canals, Petra is now included on the list of World Heritage of Humanity drawn up by UNESCO and recognized as a site that enchants visitors from all over the world.

“Petra, the Pink City”, his visit includes: the Siq, the Khazneh, the Deir, the Amphitheater, the Tomb of the Obelisks, the Monastery. Petra is sometimes called "The Lost City".

Despite its importance in antiquity, after the 14th century AD, Petra was completely forgotten in the West. It was rediscovered in 1812 by a Swiss traveller, Johann Ludwig Burckhardt, who managed to enter this jealously protected site by claiming to be an Arab who had come from India to make a sacrifice at the tomb of the prophet Aaron.

Then let's go for lunch. Then transfer at the end of our visit to our hotel,  Amra Palace International Hotel (3*)

Day 12 - Sunday Kings Route – Kerak - The Dead Sea – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel, then this morning we will head to the famous road of kings in Jordan. Then continue to Kerak; there we will visit the fortress of Saladin, which is an old Crusader fortress.

In fact, Kerak rises 900 meters above sea level. Today, this city still features various restored 19th century Ottoman buildings. But, without question, it is the castle of Kerak which dominates everything.

Then we continue to the Dead Sea. Lunch in Kerak, or at the Dead Sea or in Amman (depending on time available).

After that, free time for activities on a well-equipped private Dead Sea beach (pools, cabins, showers and restaurant/cafes).

Today, its coast, partially inhabited, is very peaceful. Its landscapes having hardly changed since antiquity, it represents a privileged place for car rides. You can also sunbathe, swim, or relax in the lapping water, and be amazed to see that you are not sinking! Enjoy the strange but delightful experience of “floating” on the surface of buoyancy waters, nine times saltier than ordinary seawater, taking a mud bath or experiencing therapeutics. 

Then transfer to Amman airport according to your flight schedule.
