After breakfast. Departure for the marvelous site of the Giza plateau, composed of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos as well as the mysterious Sphinx.

Then you will join the eastern cemetery for the visit of the tomb of the Grand Dignitary of King Cheops, where you will be almost the only ones!

Then you will enter the small pyramid of the mother of King Cheops. Then visit the temple of King Khephren whose walls and ceilings are made of granite, and the floor is covered with white alabaster. In the middle of the room is the famous “well”. It is here where the statue of Chephren, unique of its kind, was discovered in 1860 by Auguste Mariette. 

After that, barbecue lunch in a typical restaurant in the middle of a palm grove on the road to Saqqara. 

Departure for an in-depth discovery of the marvelous site of Saqqara. First, visit the funerary complex of Djoser. So, and which is the first of this importance and the largest ever built in Egypt. First visit the exterior of the step pyramid. Considered the oldest freestone architecture on our planet.

Then visit the most famous tombs called 'mastabas'. Also enter the pyramid of Titi.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport and fly to Luxor, on arrival depart for an in-depth visit to the temples of Karnak, the religious complex includes a vast collection of ruins of temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings.

It should be noted that it was rebuilt and developed for more than 2,000 years by successive pharaohs. In addition, the complex was connected to the Luxor temple by an aisle of sphinxes almost three kilometers long.

After breakfast, morning devoted to visiting some of the grandiose monuments of Luxor (the known and the less known to mass tourism). It is here where the sovereigns were buried in hypogeums in the mountains.

First we will visit three remarkable tombs in the Valley of the Kings. And which have obviously preserved magnificent exceptional painted reliefs, thanks to the care taken during their production.

Then visit one of the most beautiful monuments of Egypt unknown to mass tourism..

Departure to go to the Valley of the Nobles; gathering tombs fitted out for the notables of the New Empire. In fact they house the highest dignitaries of the country (viziers, governors, mayors or viceroys of Nubia), and important officials (royal scribes or general inspectors).

We start by visiting the tomb of Rekhmire, the mayor of the City (Thebes) and vizier – that is to say the most important personage of the State after Pharaoh.

In addition, continuation with the visit of the tomb of Sennfer''the famous tomb of the vines''.

 By the originality of its decoration, its freshness and the masterly orchestration of the funeral rituals, the "tomb with the vines" is one of the great masterpieces of the west bank of Thebes.

The craftsmen exploited the irregularity of this one to decorate it with vines, from where the name of “Grave with the vines” of the monument. A real initiatory journey of the Egyptian beyond is restored to us. 

Stop at the foot of the Colossus of Memnon, once guardian of the castle of King Amenophis III for millions of years.

At the end of the morning, lunch in a typical restaurant on the West Bank.

Free afternoon for a personal discovery of Luxor.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car to Aswan crossing the small villages nestled in the mountains, a route that will delight you, because you can admire the True Egypt with its simple and peaceful people.  On arrival, check into your 5* hotel, (subject to availability) Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, Where the Movenpick Resort Aswan.

Depart in the afternoon for a felucca ride near Elephantine Island. A moment of pure relaxation, lulled by the light breeze and sailing in the calm, blue waters.

After breakfast, departure by car and then by boat to visit the temple of Philae, which is undoubtedly the "Pearl of the Nile", built on an island submerged in the 1970s by the rise in the level of the reservoir of the old Aswan Dam following the construction of the High Dam. The temples and monuments built on the island during the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman eras were moved to the new island, also called Philae. 

You will visit among others, the temple of Isis, which is obviously the main construction of Philæ. So it is one of the major shrines of the goddess in Egypt. After that you will visit the chapel of The Goddess Hator. To conclude visit the Kiosk of Trajan which is the main feature of the site.

Then departure to reach Lake Nasser by first crossing the Old Dam, where you will see from above the 1st Cataract, on arrival, visit the High Dam. After that, lunch in town. 

Free evening for a personal discovery of Aswan, possibility of a free walk in the very colorful popular souk with its baskets filled with spices and its pyramids of fruit.

After breakfast, transfer to Aswan airport, and fly to Cairo. Welcome, departure for the visit of the National Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and its lesser known rooms including, among others, the treasure of the high priests and the daily life of Ancient Egypt, without forgetting the fabulous treasure of the young pharaoh Tout- ankh-Amon.

Then lunch in a restaurant on the banks of the Nile, under the arbors with a typical dish (mezzeh and grilled chicken).

After that, we will leave for a beautiful discovery of the ancient city.

You will start with a superb walk to discover the ancient city. You will visit two of its magnificent little-known mosques, and an old Koranic school.

Departure for the discovery of the typical souk, then we will accompany you to your hotel, the Meridien Cairo Airport (5*).
