Departure in 4×4 around 7:00 am to go to the beautiful unknown deserts of Fayoum, on arrival, visit of surroundings of Fayoum Oasis. We will visit the modest ruins and the Roman archaeological site of Qasr el Sagha (the palace of jewellers). In fact this completely unknown temple hidden in the desert north of Lake Qaroun
It should be noted that the temple was lost years ago and discovered by archaeologist Schweinfurth in 1884.
The rectangular temple is built of huge blocks of local sandstone of unequal sizes, assembled obliquely. The southern entrance, surmounted by a large lintel, leads to a large passage opening onto seven covered shrines in the northern wall.
Similarly, Cato–Thompson an archaeologist found a predominantly Middle Kingdom graveyard and a small stand of stone tools that reference that the temple must have been built in the Middle Kingdom. Continuation by the discovery of the sickle drill.
Then visit Dima Sebaaa. It is an archaeological area with ruins of the Ptolemaic city.
